Movie Review: The Graduate

Hehe, I know, I know. It took me 26 years to see The Graduate. Anyway, it was AWESOME.

What a film!! The way Mrs. Robinson brings Benjamin out of his physical shell and how he in turn tries to break her out of her emotional shell is a powerful parallel and causes such strange and awkward tension. There are so many classic moments in this movie, and the acting was just amazing.

Dustin Hoffman is so nervous, and the difference in his character from the beginning to the end of the movie is astounding. The ending is just so cinematically perfect, it's hard to imagine this film ending any better. So good. The soundtrack is amazing too, and Simon and Garfunkel provide the perfect moody atmosphere to a complex movie.
