Bermuda 2016 Day 3: Royal Naval Dockyard & The Waterlot Inn

Day 3 began with a scavenger hunt across the Royal Naval Dockyard, which was a perfect situation -- all the places pretty much that I'd researched as being "locally Bermuda" -- the Bermuda Rum Cake Company, the Dockyard Glassworks, A.S. Cooper, Dockyard Brewing -- almost everything was represented at the Royal Naval Dockyard, so it was a solid spot to get an idea of lots of Bermudian things all at once. No wonder this is a common stop for huge cruiseliners arriving in Bermuda. We checked out a few of the different spots and it was fun to try the different varieties of Bermuda Rum Cake -- obviously the Rum Swizzle flavour was the best. :)

After some time exploring we headed back to the hotel for a tea in the Gold Lounge (epic!!) and a relax before heading out for dinner.

For dinner we went to the legendary Waterlot Inn, a place that has been in operation since 1684?!?!?!?! Crazy. Their tagline is "Centuries in the Making"! Wow. It was, in fact, very legendary. Check out the pics below.

Beautiful view down at the docs as we headed inside the Waterlot Inn for dinner
Our waiter suggested this funny designed New Zealand bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tableside caesar salad! Wow this place is fancy.

Excited for this meal!
The sun started to set...
And we got a magnificent view of the sunset from our table!
I got a "Signature Tasting Trio" which was awesome, and was able to try all three of their main steaks -- U.S.D.A. Rib Eye, Wagyu Striploin, and Black Angus Filet Mignon. Mmm!!

For dessert, the highly-recommended Sticky Toffee Pudding:
"a traditional english date pudding topped with homemade vanilla ice cream and drizzled with  warm butterscotch sauce"... YUP

Relaxing after a big meal!
Another great day, of exploring and eating like crazy.
