Blog #4: The Exploration

For the final London trip blog I wanted to cover our general fun times and wandering around during our spare time, mostly on the weekends. Fun times and managed to go back to a few favourite things that I really enjoyed last year in London and had been keen to share with Michal since then.

Being able to go back to the Savoy was an incredible perk and Michal really got us an amazing spot. The view was of The Thames and looked awesome at night. What a nice spot.

Our other hotel we transferred to after a couple days for the rest of the trip worked out great too:

Some fun and random stuff we came across:
Pappy to taste! Didn't try it, but cool that you can!
Don't try to wear these...
...or put your car keys in this clutch.
Crazy self-ordering touch screen at McDonald's
Darn. We should have gotten a cheese-cake for our wedding... I mean a CAKE made OUT OF CHEESE.
Sweet helmet
Funny as these are the commonly seen fancy silverware at tea rooms. Now, making Star Wars stuff!

One of the evenings we went to the West End production of "Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time". Very good and especially liked the use of the projection screen.

I took Michal back to Angel St. Station and to the walk along Regent's Canal that I liked so much during my last visit. It was a super nice walk and though a bit damp and chilly, still super scenic and awesome.

And another nice walk in the rain:

And finally, had to make it back to Borough Market for my favourite cheese sandwich and a slice of cheesecake.

What a great trip it was! Not a ton of photos as I was quite busy during the trip and we didn't do too too much exploring this time. But as always, London is super welcoming and awesome.
