Oscar Night and Appeltinis

Tonight was great, we went to Jake and Amanda's house and had some awesome food at watched the Oscars. It was realllllly fun. Last night the guys bought me a container of 4 bottles of Appeltinis because of a few reasons:

1. We wanted to give some props to both Scrubs/Zach Braff and his character J.D.'s ridiculous/awesome ordering of Appeltinis whenever he is at that bar on the show Scrubs. Good times. Yes we watch too much TV.

2. Since I am not a beer fan apparently the guys thought it would be funny to make fun of me by buying not only the girliest drink they could find, but also the one with the girliest packaging. They most definitely succeeded.

3. I can take a joke well, so by the guys doing this there was no worry of any sort of repercussions (except maybe me giving them one of the Appeltinis which they likely would be quite willing to take, haha)

Anyway that was hilarious and the 4 "slender" bottles came in a package with a little carrying strap, haha it looked like a purse. Also it came with a note in it from "Jenn" (who is apparently also the maker of this line of girlie drinks), saying she was "taking the leap to sell her cocktails to women all over the country" haha. Yeah this was definitely not being marketed for dudes. Haha. But the drinks were pretty good I must say, haha.

Ok cool so tonight we went to Jake and Amanda's house and it was awwwesssooommmmee!!! They have suuuuccch a sweet TV and we watched the Oscars in HD and it rocked. I thought Jon Stewart did a really good job and he poked fun at a lot of Hollywood stuff which he did very well. For some reason a lot of news places seemed to give the idea that he might be nervous or that he wasn't going to do a good job - I just figured he was going to be totally awesome and do a great job in the usual genius Jon Stewart manner. Yeahhhh it was great, and there were some hilarious Daily Show style "Campaign" videos which it sounded like Rob Courdry had a part of. Hilarious and amazing, I loved the show, and the Oscars are usually pretty amazing. Sweet times.

Lots of good new movies coming out and I'd like to see some of the ones that were nominated this year too.
