Turning off the lights for Earth Hour 2008

Hi friends,

World Wildlife Fund initiated "Earth Hour" is tonight, 8-9pm local time!!!!!!
Join the world as we all turn out the lights, turn off the TV for 1 hour tonight.

I'll be doing it! Check out these links and video and decide for yourself. I think it's a worthwhile idea and every person doing their own part in the world CAN make a difference. Great idea, and really brings a lot of attention to the issue of over-abundance and disregard for the environment in America.

In 2008, millions of people, businesses, governments and civic organizations in nearly 200 cities around the globe will turn out for Earth Hour. More than 100 cities across North America will participate, including the US flagships–Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix and San Francisco and Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
