I just watched the movie "Stranger than Fiction", with Will Farrell, Emma Thompson, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Dustin Hoffman. It was absolutely totally awesome.
I saw a few silly reviews comparing it to "Adaptation" and other Charlie Kaufman films, which I think was a bit of a stretch. The script was self-referential like Adaptation but it was very different from a Charlie Kaufman film I think. I think it was a bit more light-hearted, but didn't lose it's appeal or it's depth. Man it was sooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!
It was such a good blend of comedy, serious intense analytical thought and a reflection on life and our responsibilities and choices we make. I absolutely loved it. And the acting is top-notch too.
