On the Thursday at the start of the trip, I went into work early and Mom and Dad went to Golden Gate Park for the morning and afternoon. I gave my Dad my old cell phone and added some money to it so we could easily be in contact, that worked out really well.
In the evening I got home, dropped off my bike, and we headed to ILM for a screening on Speed Racer!! I had already seen it but we went again and it was AWESOME the second time, it was really good in digital projection and what an awesome screen and sound system. Fantastic.
After the movie we went to Chestnut St and chilled out at The Grove, got some cheesecake and coffee and chatted, and then cabbed back home.
